Sales Manager

Mission Produce is the global leader in the worldwide avocado business, with additional offerings in mangos. Sales Manager


Position

A People Manager with relations in Retail

  • You will lead a team of professional Sales Coordinators.
  • You will work closely with all functions of the business to develop and implement sales strategies.
  • You are responsible for the strategic Key Accounts.
  • You will be involved in the strategic decisions related to the business of avocado and mango.
  • You will focus on finding and developing new business opportunities and creating value for current customers.
  • With your guidance, market share in Retail accounts will grow.
  • You will work closely with the senior Sourcing Manager.
  • You will implement company programs for retail, concerning pricing, competitive strategy, marketing, category management, promotions and logistics coordination.
  • You will provide accurate sales forecasts and alignment with operations to effectively manage service and inventory  levels.
  • You report to the Commercial Director.


Profile

Passion for Sales and Development

Job requirements

  • HBO/BsC degree and working and thinking level.
  • Must have a proven record of experience in the fresh produce sector.
  • Experience with avocado and/or mango or other exotics is a plus.
  • Up to 25% travel to Key Customers.
  • You already live and are settled in the Netherlands.
  • Driver's license and own transport.
  • You communicate clearly and fluently at all levels and you have an excellent command of English. If you have a good command of Dutch, German or other languages, this is an advanttage.

Location

Poeldijk, mainly, and Breda, (Hazeldonk). Easily accessible from Rotterdam and The Hague via the A20, A4 and A13 and Breda is via Antwerp, Tilburg and Dordrecht via the A16, E19 and A58.


Offer

Starting hours around 8:00/8:30 a.m. and this a fulltime job with a lot of freedom and responsibility in a fun, small and informal team. Salary that matches your experience, challenges and achievements. Mainoffice is in Breda where you work once a week. There is also an office in Poeldijk and a warehouse where the products are stored, packed and ripened. You will work at both locations during the week. Employment conditions are appropriate to the position within this ambitious company.
