Kicking off IPM 2025 with champagne

With a loud pop the IPM trade show in Essen kicked off this morning - or at least so it did at Luiten / Saarlucon, as the companies proudly toasted on their new corporate identity. But there are more novelties to be found at the trade show, which will last until Friday. IPM focuses on flowers and potted plants, but also has a significant area reserved for technical suppliers and there are quite some interesting novelties to be found at the trade show.

Novelties
Over the course of next four days, 1,434 exhibitors representing 46 countries, will be presenting their products and services. On an area spanning approximately 100,000 square meters, the exhibition takes place across ten halls, including the Galeria and Hall 1A. Novelties to be found at the trade show are the new Valoya lights (Hall 2, Booth D38), biodegradable grow bags of CoirMedia (Hall 4, booth A37) and the Paper Pot 2.0 machine, found in the Galleria. But of course there's much more - and we're present at the trade show to report on many more novelties.

Only recently, TTA and ISO announced to join forces, but Martin Maasland and Jan Bakker already look comfortable together.

Day 1
So how is day 1 so far? At first glance, visitor numbers vary significantly across the halls. Some areas are bustling, while others are quieter. However, this primarily reflects the morning hours, as the afternoon is expected to be busier. Exhibitors are enthusiastic and highly positive, viewing this trade fair as an excellent platform to showcase their products and strengthen relationships with international partners. This is evident, as numerous meetings are taking place at the stands, creating a vibrant and productive atmosphere.
