US (NV): Retired Major General appointed to Compliance Board

Retired Major General Ondra Berry has been appointed to the Cannabis Compliance Board by Governor Joe Lombardo.

"I'm both excited and honored to be appointed to the Cannabis Compliance Board," said Major General Berry. "My experience in military leadership, municipal management, and private sector operations has prepared me to address the complexities facing Nevada's cannabis industry. I believe in fair and sensible cannabis regulation."

Berry retired from the Nevada National Guard in July after 38 years. He served as the Adjutant General from 2019 until 2024. Prior to that, he was an officer with the Reno Police Department for 25 years.
