MJBizCon has kicked off

It's that time of the year again. The international cannabis industry has travelled to Las Vegas to gather at MJBizCon. During these three days, the Las Vegas Convention Center welcomes thousands of cannabis enthusiasts and over 700 exhibitors.

The first day seemed to be lower in attendance than the show is used to. The hallways were emptier and there are no longer as many exhibitors as there were a couple of years ago.

But then again, the North American cannabis market itself is also not what it was like five years ago. Many cannabis companies have been struggling through the challenging market developments. From strict regulations to price compression, it has not been an easy journey.

But there seems to be light at the end of the tunnel. New markets are opening up and the prospect of the United States rescheduling cannabis are giving some hope to the industry.

As for the trade show, the second day is about to start and exhibitors are hoping for a busier second day. And despite the challenges in the market and a slower first day, MJBizCon is the biggest trade show in the industry, and many were excited to meet up again. Stay tuned for another update on the event tomorrow!
