NL: MCPIR announces new webinar for November 6

After a successful first event on phenotyping & motherstock, MCPIR has organized a second session on the latest developments in cannabis research. Besides the live visit to the company's facility, it has also offered a knowledge program on:

  • How to set up lighting strategies for optimal growth in every growth stage
  • Phenotyping; what's next in spectral imaging
  • Optimal climate strategies for your cannabis crop.

MCPIR has decided to organize a series of webinars, starting with Crop Protection on Wednesday 6th November at 17:00 CET.

Hosts and topics will include:

  • Introduction of MCPIR by Jaime Ahumada Espinoza, Consultant and Researcher of Cannabis at Delphy. He is also the host of this webinar.
  • RenĂ© Corsten, senior Consultant Cannabis at Delphy, will be talking about Botrytis in Cannabis cultivation. Botrytis, also known as grey mold or bud rot, is a common type of fungus and the most common moisture-related disease in cannabis plants.
  • Tom Groot, Manager R& D Macrobials at Koppert, will be leading us through the cannabis aphid, Phorodon cannabis, one of the most important pest problems in cannabis production. In this presentation, he will talk about the research conducted within Koppert to come to the solution for this pest.

There will be an opportunity to ask questions too.
