UPuper® Rock Wool Substrate Company has announced that its CP S40 rock wool plug, made using a new production process, is now in mass production and available to the market. According to a representative from the company, "We focus on customer needs and feedback to continuously improve the product experience."
After gathering feedback from growers, the company realized that the packaging tape used with CP S40 rock wool plugs was causing problems. Specifically, after soaking, the plugs became difficult to separate, forcing cannabis growers to pull them apart by hand, slowing down their cloning process.
To fix this, UPuper®'s development team created a new production method. Instead of using the problematic tape, the new process uses natural paper and eco-friendly glue to bind the plugs, allowing them to easily separate after soaking. This eliminates the need for manual separation and speeds up seedling cultivation for growers.
The team also adjusted the fiber composition of the plugs to meet the specific hardness needs of cannabis cloning. This ensures the plugs can securely hold cannabis cuttings while supporting faster cloning. This change has been well received by growers who rely on these products.
In response to market demand, the company upgraded its production line, introducing full automation. This not only increased production speed for the CP S40 plugs but also extended the new paper tape process to its CB series grow cubes, allowing for faster delivery across its product line.
