US (CO): Cannabis micro-cultivation facility launches in New Britain

Connecticut adult-use cannabis dispensaries looking for different products are getting a new option in the market.

Brix Cannabis announced Thursday it has launched a micro-cultivation facility in New Britain.

Brix, which lists its business address at One Hartford Square in New Britain, operates out of a 10,000-square-foot grow space, but has plans to add 5,000 square feet of space annually for the next few years, the company said.

It will ultimately operate a 25,000-square-foot cultivation area, Brix said, with plans to initially focus on producing flower products, which are the most popular type of cannabis product in the state. Brix said it will eventually produce for the vapes market as well.
