On Monday, June 24, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Aula Magna "Amedeo Jannaccone" of the Department of Agriculture, Food and Environment (Di3A) of the University of Catania - Via Valdisavoia, 5 - the closing seminar of the Multicanapa project - submeasure 16.1 PSR Sicily 2014-2022 - entitled "Hemp: innovative multipurpose crop for Sicilian agriculture" will be held.
Speakers at the seminar will include, Antonio Caruso - Canapar, Salvatore Luciano Cosentino - UniCt lecturer and Multicanapa scientific manager, Andrea Corinzia - University of Catania-Di3A, Cristina Patanè - National Research Council (CNR-IBE), Paolo Guarnaccia - Di3A lecturer and Multicanapa innovation broker.
Mario D'Amico-director of the Department of Agriculture, Food and Environment (Di3A) and Dario Cartabellotta - director general of the Department of Agriculture, Sicilian Region - will be present as well.
Coordinating the talks during the seminar will be Professor Salvatore Luciano Cosentino.
Di3A students who attend the event will be granted CFUs.
