Australian grower comments on imports: "Let's keep in mind what our priority is"

Responding to recent media reports regarding imported cannabis products allegedly held to different standards, Biortica Agrimed CEO Tom Varga commented, "Let's all just keep in mind what our priority is here. "There is an Australian shortage of medicinal cannabis. "All medicinal cannabis needs to comply with TGO 93 and TGO 100 as a minimum. No ifs, buts or exceptions," he said. "To patients and practitioners, I'd say, look for the 'Product of Australia' logo as your guarantee of efficacy and safety."
