A proposed 67,467-square-foot cannabis cultivation facility could bring some green to an industrial area of the city’s East Ward.
But first, Canna P Farms LLC will need a green light from the Central Planning Board, which earlier this week granted the grower an extension, so the new business can tidy up some loose ends on its plans for the facility.
Canna P Farms LLC is seeking the board’s approval to demolish an existing garage and warehouse and build a new 3-story, 67,467-square-foot masonry cannabis facility, as well as an 18,341-square-foot, 29-space parking lot, according to the application.
“The first floor of the indoor cannabis farm and manufacturing facility measures 23,070 square feet,” the application says. “This ‘processing corridor’ will include office spaces, open workspaces, a security room, a conference room, staff lounge, staff locker rooms, storage, as well as several rooms for cannabis operations.”
