The Canadian Greenhouse Conference of 2023 will be remembered as one of the most successful and well-attended editions in its history. This week, the event unfolded in Niagara Falls, Canada, and attracted many growers, suppliers, and otherwise horti- or floricultural enthusiasts.
The combination of the bus tour, lecture program, trade show, and the several evening events, is working out well in Niagara, as not only growers from in and outside the region and the country found their way to the venue this year.
Visitors were treated to a wide array of greenhouse supplies and techniques showcased by the 200+ exhibitors, many local and many Dutchies. A lot of attention is paid to automation and irrigation solutions, offering more efficient and sustainable practices. Additionally, the event showcased an exciting array of new plant varieties, with a particular spotlight on long-awaited and highly anticipated Rugose-resistant products that promise to address a pressing need in the industry.
We're publishing a full photo report on Monday. In the meantime, here's a sneak peek to whet your appetite for the weekend.
