On the night leading into the Canadian Greenhouse Conference, the second edition of the Havecon-sponsored event, 'Have a Canadian Night,' took place. As a company, Havecon has been not only active but proactive in the North American Controlled-Environment-Agricultural market for well over a decade. As owner Henk Verbakel points out, "It's an event like this that defines our personality as a company. Greenhouses don't sell themselves and certainly don't get built on their own. Over the years, we have dedicated our time and focus to new and existing relationships to be successful in the Canadian and US markets."
Havecon prides itself on acting locally in the North American market for more than 15 years already. It's one of the main reasons they opened their own North American HQ years ago, just minutes from the Falls. "This is essential in doing business in North America and maximizes our reach for our customers," the team says.
Like last year's inaugural event, this edition was held at The Old Stone Inn Boutique Hotel in iconic Niagara Falls. "While trade shows can accommodate generating new contacts, important discussions with existing business partners, and hearing and learning from industry leaders, it's prior- or after-hours events like this that deepen and strengthen connections."
