After 18 years, Voshol Warmte-Elektrotechniek has relocated.
Besides being a distributor, this Dutch company also advises and does installs at Dutch and international horticultural sites. In recent years, exporting containers with horticultural materials abroad has continued to grow. That is thanks to Voshol's close cooperation with its Canadian partner, JV Energy Solutions, in Kingsville, Ontario.
Voshol deliberately chose to move from multiple buildings on a smaller industrial park in Bleiswijk to a new, independently-controlled building in the Doelwijk Distribution park in Waddinxveen.
The new building has everything under one roof and is fully equipped with the latest technology, explains board member Lennert Bredemeijer. "The building is gasless and energy-neutral and uses heat pumps and solar panels, among other things. The office is equipped for the future. Spacious in design and with an air treatment system we built ourselves, it meets the highest standards. It's even COVID-proof."
For the storage and transshipment of sea containers, Voshol uses internal loading docks with several overhead cranes and dock levelers. This move means Voshol is fully prepared for its future.
Curious? The company is planning an open day on a still-to-be-announced date.
