A webinar by Fluence

Past, present, and future of lighting technology in cannabis cultivation

It goes without saying that lighting is one of the most interesting and important aspects of large-scale cannabis cultivation. Research is catching up with the time when it was not allowed to study cannabis, and its momentum keeps building up. This also means that selecting a lighting solution for a large-scale cannabis farm is getting increasingly complex, as growing lights get more nuanced.

Fluence is one of the companies that is spearheading cannabis lighting research, gaining very meaningful insights on how lighting can drive the plant's growth in specific directions. Now, Fluence is organizing a webinar to help growers understand which lighting solution is the best for a given cultivation setting.

" As sole-source lighting technology evolves, many growers are wondering what lighting solutions best suit their cultivation goals," the Fluence team says. "In this webinar, we are going to answer questions such as: why are growers using high-pressure sodium (HPS) lighting How do I evaluate different lighting technologies when making the switch from HPS? How do I optimize my environment after switching to an LED lighting strategy? And much more!"

The webinar will take place on May 20th, at 11am NA Central Time. "We will also dive into a few grower case studies to illustrate how switching from HPS to LED lighting has yielded more consistent plants and lowered cultivators’ overall energy costs."
