AmericanHort, host of Cultivate has announced a new Hemp event to take place July 9-10, prior to Cultivate’21. This two-day event will include a trade show and education programming featuring leading perspectives on hemp production. The Hemp Conference at Cultivate will be held in Battelle Hall at the Greater Columbus Convention Center and a separate registration will be required. Discounts will be offered if attending both events. Learn more at thehempconference.org.
“This event brings together hemp growers, industry vendors, educators and researchers to discuss best practices for successful hemp production,” said Ken Fisher, President & CEO of AmericanHort. “As more ornamental plant growers look to diversify their business with hemp production, it is important that AmericanHort provide quality grower programming for this crop.”
The event is designed for greenhouse and field growers, both novice and expert alike, who are currently growing hemp or contemplating entering this market. Anyone wanting to learn more about the technical aspect of being a successful grower will benefit from participation.
The hemp education programming will be production focused covering topics like the constantly evolving landscape of state and federal laws and regulations, the impact of genetics and environment on yield and quality, production inputs, identification and management of hemp pest and diseases, harvesting and processing practices, and more.
Exhibit sales for this trade show is now open and sponsorship opportunities are available. Visit thehempconference.org for more details and contact information.
