Polish LED grow lighting producer looking for growers to participate in tests on new type of luminaires

Perfand LED is a manufacturer of outdoor and indoor lighting, but it`s the horticulture lighting that is the fastest developing area of the company. Horti series is distinguished by patented pulse flux technology. While standard Horti luminaires are being tested on different types of crops at Polish Academy of Sciences and by growers in Europe for a longer time, lately the new type of luminaire was constructed specifically for cannabis and vertical cultivation.

"Even though we are always up to date with the newest research and we pay great attention to the laboratory tests, there is no greater solution then conducting field tests in the largest possible quantity" - says Development Director, Grzegorz Konieczny. "There is still relatively little studies and data about cannabis industry. We can say that it`s developing on its own, and it`s extraordinary that we can participate in its growth and learn from from it."

Pulse flux technology was originally used in standard Horti luminaire and the results of the tests conducted at the Institute of Plant Physiology of Polish Academy of Sciences brought very satisfactory results. Thereafter, the pulse flux time that is giving the best results was adjusted and the most versatile light spectrum was selected.

The same technological solution was implemented in the new luminaires which are designed for standard cannabis cultivation and vertical seedlings breeding.

Company is now looking for the associates interested in taking part in the tests providing at least one cycle of cultivation under Perfand LED luminaires. "If you are interested in taking part in the tests, please contact us for more information," the team with the company concludes.
