The Dutch government organization responsible for the distribution of medical cannabis products (OMC) has informed AMP German Cannabis Group that it will resume exporting medical cannabis produced in accordance with EU GMP regulations to Germany. Due to the high demand and the limited supply that is currently available for Germany, the OMC will deliver 3,000 grams per month to every German importer.
AMP has ordered branded products from Bedrocan International, which are to be exported monthly by the OMC from July 2020. AMP has received all necessary licenses for the import of irradiated cannabis flowers from the Dutch and German government authorities.
The director and president of AMP, Dr. Stefan Feuerstein said: "Everything fell into its place with the start of our first import. This month we will post the first sales from the sale of Bedrocan products and hope to get a larger amount from the Netherlands in August 2020 We are also well on the way to signing a definitive supply contract with a Canadian producer and will expand our distribution network in Germany to include some pharmaceutical distributors that focus exclusively on medical cannabis. Our next step is to increase the volume of imports from Canada to Connected to the development of medical cannabis brands from AMP for the German market."
