US: NACB publishes national standards for lab testing and product integrity

The National Association Cannabis Business has released lab testing and product integrity guideline.

The document outlines the standards to comply with in order to obtain safe and consistent product quality. The association states: "The NACB is committed to creating product integrity standards that give the public confidence that NACB members’ products are safe and consistent."

For example, with regards to potency variance, the document reads: "The concentration of THC or other cannabinoids (including, not limited to cannabidiol (CBD) cannabinol (CBN), or cannabigerol (CBG)) stated on the label of Cannabis or a Cannabis Product must match the concentration stated on the corresponding certificate of analysis from a testing laboratory for that batch within a 15% variance relative to the stated potency."
