Dino-Lite, a company manufacturing USB digital microscope cameras and microscope eyepiece cameras, will participate in O’Cannabiz 2019 to be held in Toronto, April 26-27.
“Dino-Lite Digital Microscopes are high quality imaging solutions with extreme versatility. They can be used handheld or on a stand to display and capture detailed, magnified images. They come with free software which allows for cataloging, marking, and measuring features on the images,” the company explains.
According to the company, these devices can be used to detect pests and mold: “This will help growers to make sure crops are healthy and in compliance with local regulations.” Additionally, the company points out that the cataloging features are helpful to perform studies to monitor varying growing conditions and revealing which practices are the most effective. “Viewing trichome development will also reveal the best time to harvest the plants.”
At the booth 542 at O’Cannabiz, the company will showcase its new wireless version of the handheld digital microscope. “This new module design provides a dual version scope capable of being wireless for safe and efficient use that can easily convert to USB. Connect to a computer or mobile device wirelessly without sacrificing quality. Easily replace the USB module with the WF-20 for wireless connection to take images and videos through a mobile device,” the company explains.
“Using the Dino-Lite Edge Series components and combining our most popular features makes this portable scope a multi-facets tool, in that it can use variable magnification up to 220x magnification with premium features such as EDOF focus-stacking, EDR contrast-stacking, AMR magnification reading, FLC enhanced LED controls,” the company concludes.
