Smart Cannabis has broken ground and is actively installing infrastructure at what will be one of California’s largest legally-permitted greenhouse cannabis cultivation sites. The site will consist of 18 greenhouses and provide 51,840 sq. ft. of cultivation area. The construction is expected to be completed in January of 2018.
According to President John Taylor, “We are excited about this project, which is on track, on schedule and moving full steam ahead. Presently, we can confirm that we have a multi-million dollar signed contract, substantial monies on deposit, and the customer has approved plans and permits from Yolo County. This transaction employs Next Generation Farming to install 18 of our SMART By Design automated greenhouse systems, resulting in approximately 51,840 square feet of cultivation area.”
Taylor added, “Our attainable goal is to deliver the finished project in January 2018 so our client can begin producing revenues shortly thereafter. Considering that any serious competitor in our market takes approximately 10 weeks to build and install one or two units, we believe this project will be one for the record books, and clearly set Smart Cannabis and Next Generation Farming apart from any other company in our business.”
Brian Armstrong, President of SantoniStrong Enterprises and Smart Cannabis’ client with this project, affirms to the company’s high quality of work: “My vision is to build an automated facility that would separate me from the other cultivators in the county, and with a facility capable of outputting hundreds of pounds each week, I will have done just that.”
